Pamela Takiff is a New York based abstract photographer. As an artist, and human rights lawyer focused on sex trafficking and domestic violence, her work is driven by the need to find beauty and meaning amidst the chaos. Having borne witness to both the dark side of humanity, and to extraordinary resilience, she is drawn to images that reflect her world view and spark the viewer’s imagination.

Pamela’s work has been exhibited in Paris at ART CAPITAL and with Salon des Beaux-Arts; in Monaco at ART3F; in the New York area and at Midwest Center for Photography where she was a featured artist in their 2023 Portfolio Platform. Her photos have been published in IAM Magazine (International Artists Mentoring) and Litchfield Magazine. In 2023, she was the recipient of the Bronze Medal of Honor from the French Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters.

She holds a BA from Kenyon College and a JD from Cardozo School of Law. Currently, Pamela serves on the boards of Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW) and Project Sage, an organization committed to ending domestic violence.
