Nathalie Seaver

Nathalie Seaver is a Los Angeles based visual artist whose practice uses photography, collage and mixed media to investigate materiality and memory to reveal unexpected layersof enchantment and splendor found in worlds within her reach.

Seaver grew up in New York City and Paris and studied film and theatre at Wesleyan University. Her career has included book illustration, creative executive positions in the television and film industry and fashion design. Her art is enhanced and informed by this lifetime connection of working in these visual and tactile fields.

She has presented her work extensively in gallery exhibitions in the United States, including Julie Keyes Art, Edition One Gallery, The Griffin Museum of Photography, The SE Center of Photography and the New York Center for Photography, as well as Foto Fever in Paris.

Nathalie Seaver has been a FocusPhoto Finalist at PhotoLA, a Critical Mass finalist and selected for the KlompChing Fresh, Summer edition and been featured in The Getty Museum Iris blog, Shadow and Light Magazine, and several Lenscratch exhibitions, including an interview highlighting her Deconstructing Beauty series.
