SHE PERSISTS / ELLE PERSISTE is an exhibition of contemporary women artists examining culture, history, and the lived experience. Through photography, self-portraiture, alt-processes and mixed media, these artists examine how women see and represent themselves, as subjects, storytellers, and makers of meaning. Whether intimate or confrontational, quiet or bold, the works reveals an ever evolving dialogue between visibility, identity, and power.
